NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I [A is lower alkyl which may be replaced; B is H, or -R1-OOCC(R2)3 (R1 is lower alkylene; R2 is H, or lower alkyl)], its ester, and its nontoxic salt.
USE: An antimicrobial agent, an addition agent for feed and a preservative.
PREPARATION: A compound shown by the formula II or its reactive derivative is reacted with a compound shown by the formula III, or its ester, or its salt in a solvent such as THF, DMF, etc., under cooling or at room temperature, to give a compound shown by the formula I.
