Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound inhibiting cell migration induced by a chemokine such as monocyte migration factor, MCP-1/MCAF, thus useful as a medicine for arteriosclerosis, etc., by using a specific organolithium compound, etc., as starting material.
CONSTITUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I [R1 is a 1-10C alkyl, a 2-10C alkenyl, a (non)substituted phenyl, etc.; R2 is H, a tri(1-7C hydrocarbon) silyl, etc.; R3 is H, methyl or vinyl; R4 is a 1-8C alkyl, a 2-8C alkenyl, alkynyl, etc.; W is H, hydroxyl, a tri(1-7C hydrocarbon)siloxy, etc.; X-Y is ethylene, vinylene, etc.; Z is CO2R5 (R5 is H, a 1-10C alkyl, etc.)], e.g. (11R,12S,13E,15S)-9- acetoxy-11,15,-dihydroxy-7-thiaprosta-8,13-dienoic acid. The compound of formula 1 is obtained by reaction between an organolithium compound, organotin compound or organocopper compound of formula II [R21 is a tri(1-7C hydrocarbon) silyl, etc.; M is Li, etc.] and a compound of formula III.
