Abstract:
To provide an abnormality detecting method of a shift operation mechanism of a vehicle.
A slide switch for detecting a shift position of a shift lever 12 is arranged in a shift lever device 10. Abnormality of a shift operation mechanism can be discriminated on the basis of coincidence/noncoincidence of a shift position of the shift lever 12 detected by this slide switch and an actual shift position detected by an NSS 66 of an automatic transmission 64.
