To provide an abnormality determination device of an air-fuel ratio sensor which can accurately determine an abnormality of the air-fuel ratio sensor even if a change amount of the air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas is relatively small.
In the abnormality determination device, the abnormality of the air-fuel ratio sensor is determined on the basis of a relationship KJUDSVO2RL between an output change period parameter WDSVO2RL indicating a period in which an output change amount DSVO2 of the air-fuel ratio sensor which is changed by the switching of a mixed-air air-fuel ratio to a lean air-fuel ratio from a rich air-fuel ratio returns again to a prescribed change amount after reaching the prescribed change amount, and an output change amount extremal value HDSVO2RL being an extremal value of the output change amount DSVO2 of the air-fuel ratio sensor which is obtained within a period indicated by the output change period parameter WDSVO2RL (steps 14 to 16, 18, 20, 21 and 23).
