PURPOSE: To obtain the abnormality indicator being miniature and having a sufficient function by providing a program determined in advance for determining the order of turn-on and turn-off of light emission and the operation order of two kinds of timers, selecting the program in accordance with an abnormal state and turning on and turning off a visible luminous body.

CONSTITUTION: The device is constituted of a visible luminous body (LED) 2, and a circuit 5 for controlling turn-on and turn-off of light emission, and at least two kinds of timers 6 whose time is different. As a result of operation of an abnormality indicator protecting circuit 1, two timer circuits 6 are operated in accordance with the protective contents, the order of tuen-on and turn-off of light emission and the operation order of two kinds of timers are executed by the program determined in advance, the LED 2 is driven by a circuit 3, and its abnormality contents are shown. That is, one set of visible luminous body, and only a circuit for controlling turn-on and turn-off of light emission exist. In such a way, the abnormality indicator being miniature and having a sufficient function can be offered.
