Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion-resistant coating filler rod which can form an abrasion-resistant coating layer on a surface of a Cu product with improved workability and can improve the productivity of a product on which a coating layer is formed.SOLUTION: An abrasion-resistant coating filler rod is used for forming an abrasion-resistant coating layer on a surface of a product containing Cu as a main component through a base layer consisting of Ni or Ni-based alloy. The abrasion-resistant coating filler rod is formed in a rod form by sintering a composite material in which a carbonization-based powder ceramic is contained in a metal matrix in a scattered state. It is preferable that a Vickers hardness of the coating layer is 900 or more at 600°C when the metal matrix contains Ni and Cr, is 550 or more at 600°C when the metal matrix contains Fe and Cr, and is 580 or more at 600°C when the metal matrix contains Co and Cr.
