Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing brush capable of properly polishing an object having an uneven part on a surface.SOLUTION: There is provided a polishing brush having, on a surface of a polishing layer, a plurality of projection parts which are isolated by a plurality of grooves and used to polish a surface of a body to be polished, the capacity of the grooves being 55-95% of the volume of the whole polishing layer. Further, the polishing layer of the polishing brush includes a first region positioned nearby the center of the polishing brush and a second region surrounding the first region, and while the first region is formed of a first material, the second region is formed of a second material, the hardness of the second material being different from the hardness of the first material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
