Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that can suppress liquid excrement from leaching through a back sheet and that has excellent breathability.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (1) comprises: a front sheet (2) comprising a nonwoven fabric; a back sheet (3) comprising a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric; and an intermediate sheet (4) positioned between these sheets. The intermediate sheet (4) comprises a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric, and the rate of reduction in thickness thereof due to a 4900 Pa load is less than the rate of reduction in thickness of the front sheet (2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
