Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress lateral leakage of fluid from a crotch part while improving fitness of the crotch part of an absorbent article.SOLUTION: In an absorbent core 22 of an absorbent article, a width of a minimum width part 225 positioned at a crotch part 202 is between approximately 35% and approximately 75% of a maximum width part 226 and length in a longitudinal direction of the minimum width part 225 is nearly 25% or less of the total length of the absorbent core 22. The absorbent core 22 is provided with an upper layer absorber 24 and a lower layer absorber 25 wider than the upper layer absorber 24 in the crotch part 202. In each side sheet, a width direction inner edge of a side wall fixed part in the crotch part 202 is positioned between a side edge of the upper layer absorber 24 and a side edge of the lower layer absorber 25. Thus, it is possible to move fluid such as urine to the lower layer absorber 25 while improving fitness of the crotch part 202 of the absorbent article, and it is possible to suppress or prevent lateral leakage of the fluid from the crotch part 202.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
