Abstract:
To form a clear shade of a gap on the surface of an absorber while suppressing non-uniformity of density.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, an absorbent article has a longitudinal direction connecting an abdominal side and a back side of a wearer and a width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The absorbent article is provided with an absorber that includes: one or more first embossed parts including a surface projection protruding to a skin surface side of a wearer and a back surface recess recessed on the skin surface side; and a second embossed part including a surface recess recessed on a non-skin surface side of the wearer and a back surface projection protruding to the non-skin surface side. When a distance in a thickness direction of the absorber between the surface protrusion of the first embossed part and the surface recess of the second embossed part is BW1, a thickness of the first embossed part is T1, and a thickness of the second embossed part is T2, BW1>|T1-T2| is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
