Abstract:
To provide an absorbent article which is capable of suppressing the leakage of bodily fluids by being continuously worn on a suitable position of the body, while reducing wetness and being more comfortable when worn.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (1) has a longitudinal direction (L) and a width direction (W), which are perpendicular to each other, and includes: a liquid-permeable surface sheet (10); an air-permeable and liquid-impermeable rear sheet (20); an absorbent body (30) having at least a pulp (31) and a highly absorbent polymer (32); and an adhesive section (50) disposed in a non-skin-facing surface of the rear sheet. The outer edge of the absorbent body is located further inside than the outer edge of the absorbent article. In an outer region (RO) between the outer edge of the absorbent body and the outer edge of the absorbent article, an overlap section (P1) is provided in which the highly absorbent polymer and the adhesive section are disposed overlapping in the thickness direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
