PURPOSE: To prevent the lowering of the body fluid transmissively of a surface sheet by forming fanwise capillary tubes widely opened toward the leading end parts thereof to the surface sheet and bonding the overlap width parts provided to the leading ends thereof to an absorbing body by an adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A sanitary napkin as one embodiment of an absorbing article is constituted of a surface sheet 10, a leakage-proof sheet 11 and the absorbing body 12 arranged between both sheets. The sheet 10 is formed by forming a large number of capillary tubes extending toward the absorbing body to a liquid impervious plastic film and each of the capillary tubes has a tapered part 14a whose taper angle θ is plus on the base end part thereof connected to the surface sheet 10 and a fanwise part 14b whose taper angle θ is minus on the leading end part side thereof and is equipped with an overlap width part 14c for bonding each capillary tube to the absorbing body 12 at the leading end thereof and the papillary tube is adhered to the absorbing body 12 by the adhesive applied to the overlap width part. The percentage of the adhesion number of the capillary tubes 14 is desirably at least 50% or more. Each of the capillary tubes 14 is pref. formed so that the inner diameter of the narrowest part 14d is 0.1-2.0mm, pref., 0.4-1.0mm and the density thereof on the surface sheet 1 is pref. 20-200/cm2.
