The hygroscopic/water-absorbing heat-generation hot patch suitable for acupuncture and moxibustion therapy is a structure member made of a metal, or the like, filled with highly hygroscopic fine particles and has a maximum temperature rise of ≥3°C in moisture and/or water-absorption. The heat-generation of the patch continues for ≥30 min in moisture absorption and/or for ≥1 min in water-absorption.
