Title:
HYGROSCOPIC/WATER-ABSORBING HEAT-GENERATION STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003147680
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a hygroscopic/water-absorbing heat-generation structure exhibiting high heat-generating performance in the moisture or water absorption and having excellent dew condensation preventing property.

This hygroscopic/water-absorbing heat-generation structure contains highly hygroscopic fine particles attached thereto and has a maximum temperature rise of ≥3°C in moisture and/or water absorption. Preferably, the heat-generation continues for ≥30 min in moisture absorption or for ≥1 min in water-absorption and in characterized by the maximum temperature rise of ≥8°C in water-absorption. The highly hygroscopic fine particle is preferably an organic fine particle, more preferably a particle composed of polystyrene, polyacrylonitrile, polyacrylic acid ester, polymethacrylic acid ester, or the like, having hydrophilic group such as sulfonic acid group, carboxylic acid group and phosphoric acid group and crosslinked with divinylbenzene, triallyl isocyanate or hydrazine.
