To provide an absorption refrigerating system allowing the efficient operation of heat from various portions while solving an unbalance between a power demand and a heat demand.
This absorption refrigerating system comprises a hot water storage tank 1 storing exhaust heat from a fuel cell 2 generating power by the electrochemical reaction between fuel formed mainly of hydrogen and oxidizer, an absorption refrigerating machine 3 operated by using, as heat source, the heat stored in the hot water storage tank 1, generating cold, and supplying the cold to a cold consumer 6, a cooling tower 5 dissipating waste heat from the fuel cell 2 or the absorption refrigerating machine 3, and a compression refrigerating machine 7 generating the cold while supplying heat to the hot water storage tank 1 and supplying the cool air to the cold consumer.
