PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of crystallization in a reproducer in spite of the running condition of a vehicle in an absorption type air conditioner for vehicle provided with an evaporator, obtaining cold air, an absorber, absorbing refrigerant evaporated in said evaporator into absorbing liquid, the reproducer, heating the absorbing liquid from the absorber by the cooling water of a vehicle-loaded engine to condense it, and a condenser condensing the vapor of the refrigerant, which is generated in the reproducer, and sending it to the evaporator.
CONSTITUTION: A vapor pressure controlling means 12, controlling a refrigerant vapor pressure in a reproducer 3, is provided. On the other hand, a control unit 13, controlling the operation of the vapor pressure control means 12 in accordance with a difference between a set temperature, set in order to avoid crystallization in the reproducer 3, and a detected temperature in the reproducer, is provided in the title device.
