PURPOSE: To enable a beautifully finished printing with no haze to be obtained, by providing an abutting roll of a small diameter coated with ceramic, a sliding element so arranged as to prevent the abutting roll from bending and, besides, to be able to be slid along a frame, and a positioning means to determine the position of the sliding element.
CONSTITUTION: An abutting roll 120 of a small diameter coated with ceramic is fixed to a frame 110. In order to minimize a play, a housing 112 composing a part of the frame 110 is, in a slidable manner, fitted in first and second sliding elements 130, 140. In order to move the sliding elements 130, 140 by equal distances, an adjusting screw 150, an example of a regulation means, is caused to pivot. Because the adjusting screw may pivot by itself, a nut 156 is used for stopping its rotation. Further, because the sliding elements 130, 140 can be moved inside a guide 114, positioning is necessary for them not to move. As an example of this positioning, the positioning is carried out with a boss 158 installed almost at the central part of the adjusting screw 150 and with a fixing element 160 attached to the housing 112.
