Abstract:

To shorten time required for a cast-molding cycle when a cylinder sleeve is cast-molded in a centrifugal casting method.

A casing 140 is provided in a housing 14 and a surface temperature sensor 164 supported by a support member 166 is stored in this casing 140. This surface temperature sensor 164 approaches a cylinder die 88 or separates apart from it accompanied by inclination of a support member 166 under rotational action of a rotary shaft 170 of a rotary motor. In a process to produce the cylinder sleeve in the centrifugal casting method, it is preferable that compression air is supplied to the casing 140 when cooling water is sprayed to at least a cylindrical die 88 and the compression air is leaked to the housing 14 from the casing 140.
