Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an AC arc welding machine capable of appropriately changing the gap according to the position of a movable core with a simple structure at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A transformer having a fixed core 1, primary and secondary coils 2, 3 which are coiled opposite the fixed core 1, and a movable core 10 arranged so as to enter and leave between the primary and secondary coils 2, 3 is provided, and the movable core 10 of the transformer consists of a front block 11 and a rear block having the different width (height) in the direction perpendicular to the entering leaving direction. Respective gaps between upper and lower legs 1a, 1b of the fixed core 1 and the upper and lower surfaces of the movable core 10 are changed according to the position of the movable core 10.
