Abstract:

To provide an accelerator for synthesizing biogenic collagen, capable of much increasing activity of synthesizing collagen protein in vivo.

The accelerator for synthesizing biogenic collagen contains a decomposition product of collagen or gelatin, having ≤400 molecular weight, especially, the accelerator contains tripeptide of amino acid sequence Gly-Pro-Hyp. The decomposition product of collagen or gelatin having ≤400 molecular weight, or the tripeptide of Gly-X-Y (X and Y are amino acid), especially a peptide of Gly-Pro-Hyp is much effective as a synthesis accelerator of biogenic collagen.
