Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the access control circuit of the storage device whose access processing time is short, and which can cope with the storage device whose storage capacity is different, as well, with regard to the access control circuit of the storage device of a serial input/output type.
CONSTITUTION: For an EEPROM 7, different storage capacities are used, and even if an address data area contained in transmitting data is increased in order to access the EEPROM 7, it is possible to cope therewith by varying bit length of a start bit contained in the transmitting data in the same way, and also, it is possible to cope therewith without changing a format of the transmitting data outputted to a control data latch 1 and a transmitting data latch 3, or without changing the constitution of a hardware circuit of a control data latch 1, a control circuit 2, a transmitting data latch 3, a receiving data latch 5, etc.
