Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a glass screen in a sash-less manner, to improve visibility while largely enhancing workability on installation and yield by supporting a double glazing by point support metal fittings.
SOLUTION: The outer circumferential sections of two opposed glass plates 1a, 1b are bonded through a spacer frame material 3, and sealed hermetically by a sealing plate 4. In the double glazing 1, bored sections formed at the four corner sections of each glass plate 1a, 1b are formed concentrically, the bored sections of the glass plate 1a on the outside are formed in a large diameter, and the bored sections of the glass plate 1b on the inside are shaped in a small diameter. Annular spacers are bonded between the glass plates 1a, 1b in the peripheries of the large diametral side bored sections, and recessed sections among the inner circumferential sections of the spacers and the bored sections are filled and sealed hermetically with the sealing materials 4. Cylindrical split rings 9, 9' are fitted, and the end faces of the bored sections of the glass plate 1a on the large diametral side and the internal surfaces of the slit rings 9 are formed in the same surfaces by the bored sections. An adjustable clearance 19 absorbing the displacement of the central places of the bored sections is formed.
