Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the accessory drive device for a vehicle, which is small in size, inexpensive, and can cope with any requirement at the time of normal running, transportation by ships and the others with no provision of an auxiliary engine.
CONSTITUTION: The device is so constituted that a motor 21, a PTO 6 and an epicyclic reduction gear 13 are provided, the first elementary sun gear 16 of the epicyclic reduction gear is connected to the output shaft of the motor via a one-way clutch 22, the second elementary carrier 17 holding a planetary gear 15 is connected to the power delivery shaft 10 of the PTO, and the third elementary internal gear 14 is connected to the input shaft 35 of an accessory compressor 34.
