To provide an accumulation conveyer control system which is furnished with a conveyer having plural accumulation areas, and has control modules connected to a clutch electrically controlled, in each area.

This accumulation conveyer control system has a motor connected to the accumulation conveyers in order to drive plural conveyer rollers. A clutch 11 connects the driving rollers on the conveyers to the motor through a driving member 9 such as a chain. A control module 20 controls the conveyer operation by detecting whether an article exists or not in the passages of one or plural article detecting sensor. When the passage of the article detecting sensor is cut off by displaying the existence of the article, the module 20 receives a signal from the area at the downstream side as well as delivers a signal to the area at the upstream side, so as to control the roller operation in each area. By using such a system, plural areas can be integrally composed, by using a single motive power source, without using a mechanical device such as a trigger switch and a controller allowable to program.
