Abstract:
To provide an accuracy diagnostic device and an accuracy diagnostic method for a machine tool capable of diagnosing accuracy change caused by thermal displacement and instructing appropriate timing of measuring a correction value of a coordinate of the machine tool, etc. for correction of displacement.SOLUTION: An accuracy diagnostic device 7 includes a temperature reference value recording section 103 recording a temperature reference value 104 in a 5-axis machining center 1 including a body temperature sensor 4 and an air temperature sensor 5 which measure temperatures changing according to a use environment and an operation. The accuracy diagnostic device acquires temperature data 101 measured by the body temperature sensor 4 and the air temperature sensor 5, and diagnoses accuracy change of the 5-axis machining center 1 on the basis of a first change index (first temperature index 106) derived from a degree of change of a temperature per predetermined time and a second change index (second temperature index 107) derived from a current temperature and the temperature reference value 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
