Abstract:
To provide acetylated powdered cellulose, acetylated cellulose fiber and acetylated wood flour and to provide a production method enabling the production of them and acetylated monosaccharide to efficiently proceed.SOLUTION: The acetylated powdered cellulose, acetylated cellulose fiber or acetylated wood flour is an acetylated product of powdered cellulose, cellulose fiber or wood flour, respectively. The production method of acetylated monosaccharide, acetylated powdered cellulose, acetylated cellulose fiber or acetylated wood flour comprises bringing monosaccharide, powdered cellulose, cellulose fiber or wood flour into contact with a carboxylic acid anhydride in the presence of scandium triflate and acetylating the same at a predetermined reaction temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
