Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acidic beverage having a low calorie, showing an excellent sweetness and good in tastefulness by containing erythritol and a highly sweet sweetener (further mutitol), and adjusting at a specific pH.
SOLUTION: This acidic beverage (a fruit juice beverage, a vegetable juice beverage, etc.) showing 2.7-4.5pH, is obtained by containing (A) 1-6wt.% erythritol, (B) 0.005-0.03wt.% highly sweet sweetener (Stevia, aspartame, etc.) and as necessary further (C) 1-5wt.% multitol.
