NEW MATERIAL:An acidic glycoprotein capable of bonding to a monoclonal antibody obtained from a hybridoma cell in which an animal spleen cell immunized with erythropoietin(EPO) is fused with a myeloma cell, being ≥88000 (unit/mg protein) in EPO ratio activity, capable of providing a single band by electrophoresis on sodium dodecylsulfate(SDS) and having 30000-40000 molecular weight.
USE: A medicine applicable to anemia patient, patient after operation, etc.
PREPARATION: An animal spleen cell immunized with EPO obtained from urine of anemia patient, etc., is fused with an animal myeloma cell and then a monoclonal antibody is produced in the resultant hybridoma cell. Then the antibody is bonded to an absorbing support to prepare an antibody-bonded absorbent and the absorbent is brought into contact with an EPO-containing raw material.
