Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain visual effect in a display and to display all characters regardless of a data length in display character information and to realize a clear character at a scroll time.
CONSTITUTION: In an acoustic reproducing device provided with a display part and a display control means, and capable of displaying character information recorded previously on a recording medium on which audio data is recorded, by the display control means, character data is displayed by scrolling. In particular, when the number of figure of the character information read out from the recording medium and displayed on the display part is larger than displayable figures in the display part (F105, F106), the character information is controlled so as to be displayed while being scrolled (F108-F112). Further, a scroll speed is varied according to the number of characters, the kinds of character and user's operation, etc.
