Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient cancel effect, and to always reproduce a high quality sound by covering one part or whole part of the surrounding of a space between a speaker unit for reproduction and a speaker unit for cancel with a sound absorbing member.
SOLUTION: A space between a speaker 1 for reproduction and a speaker 2 for cancel is covered with a sound absorbing material 22, and frequencies higher than about 1 kH2 are absorbed. A signal inputted to an adaptive filter 11 is filter-processed, inputted to a D/A converter 13, converted into an analog signal, amplified by an amplifier 5 for driving the speaker for cancel, and inputted to the speaker 2 for cancel. An adaptive filter controller 12 cancels the sound of a back face radiated from the speaker 1 for reproduction after the output signal of the filter 11 is converted through the converter 13 into the analog signal, amplified by the amplifier 5, and radiated from the speaker 2 for cancel by using a signal from an FIR digital filter 16 as a reference signal.
