PURPOSE: To provide the acoustic reproduction device preventing deterioration in the S/N and increase in power consumption when left and right surround speakers output 2-channel surround signals from an audio signal sent in the radio system.

CONSTITUTION: Audio signals L, R from a video tape recorder 1 are converted into a difference signal (L-R) by a radio transmitter 7 and also into a monaural radio signal M(L-R) and the result is sent to a radio receiver 8 as a radio wave. The radio receiver 8 receives the radio signal M(L-R) and converts it into left right difference signal (L-R) to generate 1st and 2nd delay difference signals 1(L-R) and 2(L-R) and the result is sounded out from left right surround speakers 9L, 9R. Thus, while the deterioration in the S/N and increase in power consumption is prevented in the case of transmission by the radio system, two channel surround signals are outputted to the left/right surround speakers arranged at the back side of the listener.
