Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic volumenometer capable of minimizing measuring error by temperature difference between a reference vessel and a measured vessel and variation in measurement result.
SOLUTION: The acoustic volumenometer that differentially applies alternating volume variation to the insides of the reference vessel and a measured vessel with sound pressure output by an electro-acoustic transducer with driving current supplied by a signal generator 15, detects pressure variation inside the reference vessel and measured vessel at that time, and measures volume of the measured vessel. The signal generator 15 comprises an output control section 32 for starting the supply of the driving current just before measuring volume of the measured vessel and stopping it just after termination of measurement, an offset adjusting section 35 for adjusting the offset of the driving current, and a phase setting section 33 for making the phase of sound pressure at a start time (t=0) constant.
