To provide an acrylic acid ester copolymer rubber which is free from a halogen, can provide a rubber product with excellent fuel oil resistance and tensile strength, and can be crosslinked by sulfur or an organic peroxide; a method for producing the same; a rubber composition; an oil and weather resistant rubber composition; and an oil and weather resistant rubber.
The acrylic acid ester copolymer rubber comprises a constituent unit derived from at least one monomer selected from an alkyl acrylate and an alkoxyalkyl acrylate at 40-91.9% by mass, a constituent unit derived from an unsaturated nitrile monomer at 8-40% by mass, and a constituent unit derived from at least one monomer selected from a non-conjugated cyclic polyene and a specific structure of a compound at 0.1-20% by mass (to sum up to 100% by mass), wherein the rubber has a Mooney viscosity [ML1+4 (100°C)] of 10-200.
