This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises 0.2 to 40 pts. mass of a graft copolymer (X) obtained by radically polymerizing 1 to 30 pts. mass of an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer (B) and 15 to 90 pts. mass of an epoxy group-free vinyl monomer (C) in the presence of 2 to 80 pts. mass of an oligomer having 0.8 to 2.2 carboxy groups per molecule at the terminal on the average and having a number-average mol. wt. of 800 to 20,000, and 60 to 99.8 pts. mass of an acrylic polymer (Y) except the graft copolymer (X).
