Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cross-linkable halogen-containing acrylic rubber composition that has excellent balance between its storage stability and cross-linking rate, and very scarce fear of metal corrosion and stain as well as high tensile strength, low permanent compression set, excellent water resistance, etc.
SOLUTION: This cross-linkable halogen-containing acrylic rubber composition comprises (1) halogen-containing acrylic rubber, (2) a triazinethiol compound, (3) a dithiocarbamic derivative and/or thiuram sulfide compound, (4) a hydrotalcite compound and/or an organotin compound, (5) an aromatic carboxylic acid (anhydride), (6) a white filler of PH2-10, and (7) silane coupling agent. This composition can be prepared by blending a mixture of (8) a polymer mainly composed of an alkylacrylate and/or alkoxyalkylacrylate and component (2) and/or component (4) with the other above-mentioned components.
