PURPOSE: To provide an acting doll which performs funny walking, by a method wherein arm parts and leg parts are reciprocatively movably mounted to the drum part of a doll, and the arm parts and the leg parts are connected to connecting levers motioned through two cams secured on the gear shaft of a gear drive mechanism driven with the aid of a motor located in the drum part.

CONSTITUTION: A main switch 6a mounted to a source part 6 is turned ON, and through detection of a sound by means of a sound sensor 8, a motor 5 is run. Each gear of a gear drive mechanism (a) driven by a motor 5 serving as a drive source is rotated. Arm parts 3 and 3 connected to connecting levers 25 and 25 and leg parts 4 and 4 connected to connecting levers 26 and 26 are simultaneously motioned through the motion of the connecting levers 25, 25 and 26, 26 through deformation cams 21, 21 and 22, 22 secured to a support stem 15 of the one gear of the mechanism. Mounting of a source part 6 of the motor 5 to the lower part of a drum part 2 positions the center of gravity of a doll at a lower level, and provides stability during walking.
