To provide a remote controller for electronic apparatuses constituted of plural icon display devices and an action detecting circuit which detect actions in the visual field.

An action detecting circuit 15 tracks the movement of a moving object by detecting the picture or prescribed motion of the moving object in the visual field as a remote control starting instruction and outputs a cursor control signal indicating the movement of the object. Control circuits 5-8 and 13-16 are connected to a display device 9, electronic apparatuses 1-12 and 16, and the operation detecting circuit 15 and, upon receiving the cursor control signal, makes a movable visually indicating means 24 which follows the movement of the object, namely, a cursor to be displayed and the electronic apparatuses 1-12 and 16 to execute the processing corresponding to the icon selected by a user by using the visually indicating means 24.
