Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an action judging apparatus and an action judging method which can detect without delay and surely a specified action of an object to be detected and are hardly influenced by noises.
CONSTITUTION: A signal with a value of electric voltage corresponding to the pressure given by a player on a starting block 1 is outputted from a pressure sensor 2 mounted on the starting block 1. After the noise components with at least 500Hz are eliminated through a low pass filter circuit 32, this signal is A/D converted by means of an A/D converting circuit 32. The first digital signal thereby obtd. is smoothed by means of a smoothing circuit 33 and si converted into the second digital signal and, after it is delayed and added by a specified value respectively by means of a delay circuit 23 and an adding circuit 35, it is compared with the new first digital signal by means of a comparator 36. In this instance, when a specified frequency component is generated from the pressure sensor 2 accompanied with the starting action of a player, an output for judgement is generated from the comparator 36.
