Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active antenna system capable of flexibly responding to communication situation in a communication area.SOLUTION: An active antenna system includes a plurality of antenna units 5 that includes a plurality of antenna elements 10 and form beams in a communication area, a storage device 36 that stores a plurality of tables in each of which control information used for controlling beams is registered correspondingly to the a plurality of antenna units 5 respectively, and a control unit 37 that controls the beams of the respective antenna units 5 on the basis of the control information. A plurality of setting value sets obtained by combining setting values of tilt angles and beam widths of the beams, and the control information used for forming beams corresponding to the plurality of setting value sets are associated with one another and registered with the table, and the control unit 37 selects the control information to be used for control of each of the plurality of antenna units 5 from among the plurality of pieces of control information associated with the plurality of setting value sets, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
