To provide an active energy ray-curable coating composition which can form a cured coating film which has outstanding scuff resistance, weatherability, and adhesion to a plastic substrate, especially to those substrates made of polycarbonate resin.

The active energy ray-curable coating composition is characterized by including silsesquioxane compound (a) which has organic groups directly bonded to a silicon atom, wherein at least one of the organic groups directly bonded to the silicon atom is an organic group having a urethane bond and one (meth)acryloyloxy group, urethane (meth)acrylate (b) which has two or more (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, poly[(meth)acryloyloxyalkyl] isocyanurate (c), and a photoinitiator (d).
