To provide an active energy ray-curable ink composition which retains high sensitivity, excels in curability when printing is performed in a high humidity environment, excels in adhesion to a recording medium, excels in preservability, and gives a printed matter excellent in image preservability, and a method for creating a printed matter using the active energy ray-curable ink composition.
The active energy ray-curable ink composition includes a polymerizable compound, a photoacid generator, and a sensitizer, wherein the polymerizable compound includes a vinyl ether compound A represented by general formula (1) and having an SP value of 9.0-11.0 and a vinyl ether compound B having a vinyl ether group, logP of 1.5-6.5 and an SP value of 7.0-9.6, the photoacid generator is an onium salt, and the sensitizer is an anthracene-based sensitizer.
