To provide an active energy ray-curable overcoating varnish for deinking, cured by the irradiation with ultraviolet rays, an electronic beam or the like, and especially having excellent deinking properties; and to provide a printed product of the varnish, and a method for regenerating the printed product.

The active energy ray-curable overcoating varnish for the deinking, especially having the excellent deinking properties contains (A) 1-20 wt.% alkyd resin having an alicyclic ring structure, obtained by an esterification reaction of (A1) a monobasic acid, (A2) a polyol and (A3) a polybasic acid, and having 50-180 softening point, and (B) 80-99 wt.% (meth)acrylate monomer. The printed product of the varnish is also provided.
