Abstract:

To supply a new active ingredient suitable for a form of a medicinal agent, a food and a cosmetic, capable of being used internally or externally and improving biological, physiological, biochemical and pharmacological functions and to supply the active ingredient suitable for therapy and prophylaxis of different pathologies including the skin, cardiovascular system and metabolic actions (but not restricted thereto) and useful for prescribing for the medicine, the food and the cosmetic.

This invention relates to Thiolin, a new product based on the use of lipoic acid, the active ingredient prescribed for using for the medicinal agent and the cosmetic in the therapy of various kinds of skin pathologies and cutaneous maculae and a polyenol fatty acid known as an essential fatty acid(EFA). Biological, physiological, biochemical and pharmacological activities of the lipoic acid and the EFA are improved when the lipoic acid and the EFA are mixed as the new product.
