The active matrix substrate 10 is provided with; a plurality of lines 12 extending together in parallel; a plurality of second lines 13 extending together to a crossing direction of the first line 12 in parallel, which are drawn to one side; a plurality of third lines 14 extending together in parallel between each second line 13, and which are drawn to the opposite side of the direction to which the second line 13 is drawn; a plurality of thin film transistors (TFT), each of which is provided at a crossing section of each first line 12, and each second line 13 and each third line 14; and a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in matrix, each of which is connected to each TFT, wherein the plurality of second lines 13 and the plurality of third lines 14 are drawn through the mounting area 18, and the drawn lines are connected mutually every other at each drawn edge section.
