Abstract:
PURPOSE:To set the maximum distance limit arbitrarily and accurately by setting it based on the signal which is output form the external adjusting device connected only on setting. CONSTITUTION:The maximum distance limit is set based on the signal output from the external adjusting device B15 connected only on setting. The combination use of the magnification level of the amplification factor corresponding to the maximum distance limit and the amplitude of the signal corresponding to the maximum distance limit being output from light receiving elements B16 and B17 allows quick and fine setting of the maximum distance limit. The set maximum distance limit is stored in a nonvolatile storage B18, and when signal processing circuits B12 and B14 set the level of amplification factor, sets so that signals, which are magnified when a range object is in a long range side early out of the signals output from the light receiving elements 16B and 17B may become proper amplification factor and sets by a signal which decreases when the range object is in the long range side later. This constitution makes it possible to arbitrarily and accurately set the maximum distance limit.
