To perform identification of a transfer function filter required for adaptive algorithm highly accurately and for a short time without causing failure.
A basic period T0 of periodic vibration is calculated in a step 204, after a counter K is cleared to zero in a step 205, a delay time Td is calculated in a step 206 (Td=T0.k/4). Successively, operation is transferred to a step 207, an impulse signal I is supplied to an active type engine mount with timing delayed by a delay time Td from a point of time when a next reference signal x is inputted, and vibration is caused in accordance with the impulse signal I. A residual vibration signals (e) of required numbers in steps 208, 209 is read, and update calculation of a transfer function filter for identification is performed based on LMS algorithm in a step 213. After the above mentioned processing are performed for k=0-3, a transfer function filter C for identification is substituted in a transfer function filter C' used for vibration reduction processing.
