PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise supporting method capable of providing motivation to maintain a regular exercise program.SOLUTION: There is provided a personal training system for calculating energy expenditure values and activity points. One or more devices use an accelerometer and/or other sensors to monitor activity of a user. The user may identify the activity via one of the devices, a mobile phone, a computer device and another device. Activity points or energy expenditure values are calculated from data received from sensors and the identification provided by the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
