Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix on a job site an integrated protection module by forming a shunt trip circuit containing a storage capacitor connected to an electromagnetic coil. CONSTITUTION: When voltage exceeds trigger voltage of a silicon switch, the switch is closed, a capacitor C1 is discharged through a shunt trip coil 60 connected to a shunt trip circuit 62 with terminals T3 , T4 , and conductors 67, 68, the shunt trip coil 60 immediately responds, generates an electromagnetic field oppositely to a permanent magnet 59, a plunger is mutually acted with a latch for a trip actuator to operate breaker operation mechanism. By performing a shunt trip control with an electronic circuit contained in an accessory module, the accessory module can be fixed on a job site to an integrated circuit protection unit.
