Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accomplish accurate control by adding offset voltage proportional to supply voltage to output of a transmitter of a driving circuit and judging abnormality from a difference between an actuator control signal and a feedback signal in the above device of a power steering device for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A command signal V0 corresponding to a car velocity and a feedback signal V2, which is obtained by converting electric current of an electromagnetic coil 1 and passing it through a feedback circuit 13, are input to a differential amplifier 3 of a differential amplifying circuit 14 to amplify a difference between both signals and output an output signal V1. The signal V1 is compared with a chopping wave obtained by adding offset voltage proportional to voltage VB of a battery 7 to a chopping wave generated by a chopping wave generator 6 by a voltage addition circuit 20 by a comparator 5 of a driving circuit 4. When it becomes higher than the chopping wave level, a signal is output to a transistor TR1 to change on-time of the transistor TR1 in proporation to the magnitude of the output signal V1. Thus, accurate control can be accomplished.
