To obtain a high driving voltage from a low voltage without using any DC-DC converter by making a plurality of drivers generate voltages higher than the power supply voltage by controlling the turning on/off of the switches of the drivers by means of a control circuit and driving an actuator with the difference voltage between the voltages.
Two drivers 11 and 12 composed of switch-up regulators are arranged and an actuator 13 is connected between the drivers 11 and 12. Then a differential amplifier 14 which monitors the outputs of the drivers 11 and 12 and another differential amplifier 15 which inputs the output of the amplifier 14 and control signals VS are also provided. The actuator 13 is driven with the difference voltage V0 between the output voltages V01 and V02 of the drivers 11 and 12 by controlling the voltages V01 and V02 by controlling the switches SW1, SW2, SW3, and SW4 of the drivers 11 and 12 by means of a switch control circuit 16. Therefore, a low-voltage power source can be obtained without using any DC-DC converter and, accordingly, the efficiency of an actuator driving circuit can be improved.
